Intermidialidade e teoria do romance: convergências

Abstract

Este artigo tem por objetivo buscar uma articulação teórica entre o gênero romance e os estudos intermidiáticos. Para tanto, investigamos em que medida o surgimento do romance abalou a teoria dos gêneros estabelecida por Aristóteles e adotada pelo classicismo. Depois, enfocamos a intermidialidade, que veio a preencher as limitações dos estudos interartes, configurando-se como um interessante campo de estudos para os estudos literários. Assim, procuramos demonstrar, a partir dos estudos de Jürgen Müller, Claus Clüver e Irina Rajewsky, hipóteses teóricas para a pesquisa das interações entre romance e outras mídias, tais como HQs, pintura, fotografia, cinema, televisão, internet etc.
