Raíces del agnosticismo en el pensamiento inglés del siglo XIX

Abstract

El agnosticismo desarrollado por Huxley hunde sus raíces epistemológicas en la filosofía crítica de Kant. Las teorías del conocimiento de Kant y de Huxley parten de un fundamento común: el factum y el desarrollo de la ciencia. Investigamos aquí:a) la vinculación de los agnósticos con el criticismo kantiano; b) la relación entre el agnosticismo y la ciencia, y c) la relación entre el agnosticismo y la religión.
