There is a striking relationship between neotectonics and the morphology of the current landscape. The methodological basis used for studies on Geomorphology Tectonic shall include: lineaments of domain analysis on MDE, as they may indicate reactivation of Precambrian lines of weakness; Structural analysis offault/striae affecting the Precambrian basement weathered and neogenic deposits, which may point generating structures and tectonic relief events; morphotectonic analyzes that correspond to forms in the active tectonic control, the result of crustal movements in cenozoico; hipsometric analysis that may indicate high and low blocks with tectonic origin; analysis of the drainage network, by identifying anomalies drainage, drainage asymmetry calculation drainage patterns identification tectonically controlled, drainage network knickpoints guidance and identification.
