Abstract

Este texto pretende apresentar a ideia da compreensão em Hannah Arendt tomando como ponto de partida o posicionamento da autora frente ao fenômeno totalitário considerado por ela, como sendo um acontecimento inédito e sem precedentes na historia da humanidade que provocou uma verdadeira falência nos conceitos e categorias da tradição de pensamento ocidental.
