
During a biodiversity study of micromycetes occurring on bark and decorticated wood of a native gymnosperm, Podocarpus parlatorei Pilg., from Argentina, new taxa of Crassoascus and Iodosphaeria were found. They are described, illustrated and compared with the known species within each genus.
