A canção sáfica de Cassandra Rios

Abstract

O presente artigo analisa a obra Minha Metempsicose, de Cassandra Rios, a partir de um diálogo intertextual com a poesia de Safo de Lesbos. Buscando compreender a relação entre a poética sáfica e a produção literária de Rios, a pesquisa investiga como a escritora brasileira ressignifica o mito e a tradição lírica grega para construir uma literatura erótica e transgressora. Para isso, são discutidos aspectos formais e temáticos da obra, como a influência da mélica sáfica, a fragmentação textual, a performance poética e a noção de metempsicose como um renascimento literário. Além disso, o estudo contextualiza Minha Metempsicose dentro do cenário da censura no Brasil do século XX, evidenciando como a escrita de Cassandra Rios enfrentou perseguições institucionais, mas, ao mesmo tempo, consolidou-se como um marco na literatura homoafetiva nacional. A análise evidencia como a fragmentação e a estética dionisíaca dialogam com a tradição sáfica, instaurando uma escrita homoafetiva que atua como resistência literária frente à censura. Ao articular elementos da tradição grega com a resistência contemporânea, o artigo reforça a importância da obra de Cassandra Rios no debate sobre erotismo, identidade e subversão na literatura brasileira.
