Abstract

Este artículo sintetiza el trabajo de titulación Ecos Vivarium, desarrollado en la Escuela de Artes Visuales – Itinerario Curaduría – de la Universidad de las Artes de Guayaquil. Se explora cómo la curaduría contemporánea ha trascendido la mera selección y exhibición de obras para convertirse en un espacio de producción de conocimiento y cruce disciplinario. A partir de los casos de las exposiciones Ecos Vivarium y Todos los caminos llevan aquí (2024), se analiza la incorporación de materia viva y la emergencia de debates bioéticos, enfatizando la agencia de lo no humano. Se recurre a referentes teóricos como Haraway, Bennett y Bal para fundamentar un pensamiento tentacular que interrelaciona diversas materialidades y abre nuevas posibilidades interpretativas. El artículo propone que la experiencia curatorial –al integrar espacio, imagen y narrativa– propicia la construcción de sentidos abiertos y la transformación de las prácticas artísticas, ampliando así las capacidades investigativas en el arte.
