Logros y mejoras del rendimiento académico de un centro educativo de difícil desempeño

Abstract

En esta comunicación se presenta los avances respecto a logros y mejoras en el rendimiento académico de un centro educativo catalogado como de “Difícil desempeño”. Esta investigación se enmarca en el proyecto ISSPP (International Sucesfull Principalship Project) donde la finalidad es analizar el liderazgo del equipo directivo de los centros educativos. Para ello, se realizó diferentes entrevistas a directores, jefe de estudios, profesores, estudiantes, familias y personal externo al centro. Los resultados muestran mejoras significativas en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes, disminuyendo el absentismo y el fracaso escolar This communication presents the advances regarding achievements and improvements in the academic performance of an educational center catalogued as "Difficult performance". This research is part of the ISSPP project (International Successful Principalship Project) where the purpose is to analyse the leadership of the management team of the educational centers. For this purpose, different interviews were conducted with directors, head of studies, professors, students, families and personnel external to the center. The results show significant improvements in the academic performance of students, decreasing abstention and school failure
