In this study, we firstly dealt with the belief of Tawhid that had been thecommon aim of all the prophets throughout the history of mankind.Later on, we referred to the opinions as to how the belief of Tawhid, themost fundamental principle of the Islam religion, has to be understood and wetried to systematize the views which have been put forward about the belief ofTawhid throughout the history. In our study, we mostly examined the opinions ofIbn Taymiyyah who had caused this principle to get a different point of view bycarrying the principle of Tawhid from the belief dimension into the dimension ofaction. Finally, we included the beliefs, which Ibn Taymiyyah had found contraryto the belief of Tawhid and struggled against, and the movements, which areaffected by Ibn Taymiyyah nowadays.
