La imagen corporal en Educación primaria

Abstract

En la sociedad actual, la obsesión por la imagen corporal ha venido acarreando importantes problemas como trastornos alimentarios, ansiedad, estrés, etc. Problemas que, cada vez en edades más tempranas, empiezan a colarse en la vida de los individuos y de toda la unidad familiar. Este documento expone cómo los medios de comunicación imponen un modelo de cuerpo ideal que, al ser comparado con el propio cuerpo, suele crear una insatisfacción corporal en la población y, en consecuencia, crea la necesidad de consumir una serie de productos o servicios “impuestos”. El trabajo que nos ocupa se presenta a modo de investigación sobre la imagen corporal que tiene el alumnado de Educación Primaria, concretamente el alumnado de 3º y 4º. Y para conocer la imagen corporal de dichos alumnos, hemos llevado a cabo un cuestionario con los puntos que consideramos más relevantes sobre este tema.
