PENGARUH TINGGI MUKA AIR SUNGAI YANG TERJADI DI DALAM TANAH TERHADAP STABILITAS LERENG

Abstract

Analisis stabilitas lereng tidak mudah, karena terdapat banyak faktor yang sangat mempengaruhi hasil hitungan. Salah satunya adalah pengaruh tinggi muka air yang ada pada lereng tersebut. Pengaruh tinggi muka air tanah ini akan mempengaruhi tegangan air pori dan tegangan efektif tanah pada lereng tersebut. Jika muka air sungai naik maka tegangan air pori akan meningkat dan mengurangi tegangan efektif tanah sehingga suatu lereng berpotensi mengalami kelongsoran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisa stabilitas lereng akibat variasi tinggi muka air sungai sebelum diberi dinding penahan tanah dan menganalisa stabilitas lereng akibat variasi tinggi dinding penahan tanah. Analisa stabilitas lereng pada kasus ini menggunakan program STABL. Data tanah yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data tanah hasil uji sondir yang dilakukan di lapangan pada tepi sungai Batang Anai Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Hasil analisa stabilitas lereng dengan menggunakan program STABL, diperoleh faktor keamanan lereng asli dengan tinggi muka air 4,2 m sebesar 0,938 sedangkan dengan tinggi muka air 2,1 m diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,940. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa lereng kondisi asli dalam keadaan tidak stabil. Dan penambahan dinding penahan tanah pada lereng akan meningkatkan kestabilan lereng tersebut. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil perhitungan bahwa tinggi dinding penahan tanah 4,2 meter mampu meningkatkan stabilitas lereng tersebut.
