Abstract

The paper examines anglicisms and englishisms in the contemporary, popular novel for children and young people I will not think of Prague, by Sonja Ćirić. This particular lexical layer is examined from a phonetic and morphological point of view, using systematic data from the Serbian dictionary of recent anglicisms. The research leads to the conclusion that loanwords and foreign words are part of modern literary expression and represent a generational marker of the language of young people.
