Abstract

Kako engleski eufemistički izrazi iz političkog diskursa, npr. 'collateral damage' ili 'ethnic cleansing' ulaze u hrvatski jezik i njemu se prilagođavaju? Korpusnom analizom različitih medijskih izvora i HNK utvrdit ćemo za koje se pojavnice može odrediti englesko izvorište te ćemo provjeriti razumijevanje ovakvih primjera na konkretnom tekstualnom kontekstu u studentskoj populaciji govornika engleskog jezika kao prvog stranog jezika (9-10. godina učenja).
