RIJEČNI RAK (Astacus astacus L.) NA PODRUČJU NP PAKLENICA

Abstract

Imajući u vidu činjenicu da se ne zna mnogo o biologiji i ekologiji rakova u našim vodenim ekosustavima te da je nalazište vrste A. astacus u potoku Velika Paklenica neočekivano (zna se da je u rijekama Jadranskog sliva rasprostranjena vrsta A. pallipes), glavna svrha ovog projekta je bila istražiti dinamiku populacije (veličina i gustoća populacije, odnos spolova), proučiti biologiju vrste (reprodukcija, mriješćenje, inkubacija jaja, izlijeganje juvenilnih rakova, fekunditet, morfometrija) odnosno analizirati životni ciklus, sezonsku dinamiku, bolesti i ekološku uvjetovanost životinja.
