The overall scope of the Ethical AI project is designing an ethical standard for the use of Artificial Intelligence in university education.Specific objectives:- Involve academic and research communities in a common effort to establish a regulatory framework and international based fora promoting discussions focused on identifying best practices and ethical needs in the use of AI in university academic activities.- Enhancing the capacity of higher education lecturers of Costa Rica and Peru of handling and condensing ethical practices in the use of Artificial Intelligence in university education- Develop global recommendations for the ethical and adaptable use of AI in university education, ensuring alignment with international regulations and standards.In order to pursue the objectives, the project through a capacity building process involving Higher Education from Costa Rica, Perù and Europe, will achieve the following results:- Involvement of experts, lecturers, and relevant academic leaders in collaborative workshops to identify current needs and ethical challenges inherent in the use of AI in higher education, acquiring skills on the practical implementation of ethical principles for the use of artificial intelligence in higher education - Collection of peers to peer validated best practices in ethical AI use in university education - Shared proposal for a regulatory framework defining principles and rules for the ethical use of AI in university education- Establishment of an International Forum for exploring the Ethical Use of Artificial Intelligence in University Education - Availability of a transnationally validated a set of guidelines promoting the positive and ethical use of AI in education- Practical recommendations and related tools for the effective integration of AI into educational programs and courses- Policy Recommendations for the effective and ethical use of Artificial intelligence in higher education
