[EN] A European study led by the Lausanne University with the involvement of Nogués-Bravo is assessing the impact of the extinction of Europe's alpine flora. Some of the future research lines of the Biodiversity and Global Change Laboratory will focus on the evaluation of ability of the networks of protected areas to preserve European alpine flora species. It is important to note that these networks have been designed on the basis of the current location of their biodiversity, no its location in 50 years from now.
