This project examines the cultural diplomacy and identity formation of Arab Christian communities in Palestine and the birth of the cultural diplomacy via an interdisciplinary and entangled approach. It proposes a connected history of the Arab Christian communities during the formative years of the Middle East (1920-1950). Using unpublished archives, it highlights their diverse cultural practices, European connections, and evolving roles in a multicultural and politically transformative Middle East, offering new regional and global perspectives.
