The dataset reports 1) Information about the sown native plant species in which was collected, sampling date and chrysopid specimens (id, taxonomical identification and sex). 2) Presence or absence of the different pollen types identified in C. lucasina adults. 3) The pollen type most frequently identified in the alimentary canal of C. lucasina adults. 4) Presence or absence of the pollen of Biscutella auriculata and Capsella bursa-pastoris plant species. 5) Fungal spore identified on C. lucasina adults: Alternaria sp., Cladosporium sp., Spore1 sp. and Spore2 sp.). 6) Percentage of the alimentary canal occupied by the pollen in each alimentary canal segments
Here we provide data on the alimentary canal contents of Chrysoperla lucasina (Lacroix, 1936) specimens by transparency method. The 109 C. lucasina specimens were collected using an InsectaZooka aspirator in the experimental farm in 2016/2017. The dataset contains 52 columns (=variables) and 109 lines (=cases). Results were published in PLOS ONE journal [in press].
