Another, very modern, copy of Lailâ and Majnûn, dated the 26th of Dhû-alḥijjah, A.H. 1222 (A.D. 1808, February 24), by Munshî Mihr Khaḍîb. The poem concludes on fol. 162a, and is followed by some baits from the pen of the transcriber himself, as it seems. On ff. 163-166 baits of another mathnawî, not belonging to Lailâ and Majnûn, are written, beginning: گفتم كه چو پیریم کند پست فرزند جوان بگيردم دست No. 1504, ff. 166, 2 coll., each ll. 15; Nasta’lîḳ; size, 12¾ in. by 7½ in.
