Abstract

DESY-HERA. Measurement of inclusive jet cross sections in neutral current DIS of 27.5 GeV positrons with 820 GeV protons. The data were taken during the 1996-97 running period with an integrated luminosity of 38.7 pb-1. Jets are identified using the KT cluster algorithm in the longitudinally invariant inclusive mode in the laboratory frame, selected with jet transverse energy above 6 GeV and jet pseudorapidity between -1 and 3. Measurements in three phase space regions are given, global, BFKL and forward-BFKL to study parton dynamics. Gamma(P=4) is the polar angle of the jet.. In the tables the second systematic (DSYS) error is the uncertainty in the jet-energy-scale which is shown seperately from the other systematic errors.

Inclusive jet cross section DSIG/DQ**2 for jets of hadrons in the forward-BFKL phase space region.
