This folder contains SURFEX code and dependancies, at the version used to generate the results of the article ( to be submitted ) "SnowPappus v1.0, a blowing-snow model for large-scale applications of Crocus snow scheme". It includes SnowPappus blowing snow model. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING SURFEX scripts are located in the folders src/SURFEX and src/OFFLIN The scripts which contain most of the developments described in the article are : - src/SURFEX/snowpappus.F90 (SnowPappus model) - src/SURFEX/snow3L_isba.F90 ("full snow routine" : this routine calls SnowPappus and Crocus models) - src/SURFEX/snowcro.F90 (Crocus model, includes L4536-5521 the deposition of fresh AND wind-blown snow) - src/OFFLIN/init_index_mpi.F90 (L313-373 : domain decomposition for MPI parallelization) SURFEX is developped as part of the SURFEX open source project. We highly recommend that potential future users and developers access the code from its Git repository (http://git.umr-cnrm.fr/git/Surfex\_Git2.git, last access: 1 mars 2023) to benefit from all tools of code management (history management, bug fixes, documentation, interface for technical support, etc.). The version which has been saved here is tagged SnowPappus-v1.0
