
Repository Description This repository contains software for computing a walkability index in the Dakar region using OpenStreetMap (OSM) and WorldPop data. It also includes five sample addresses linked to physical activity and anthropometric data from five individuals, provided for testing and demonstration purposes. Repository Structure Addresses/Contains five geocoded addresses in Dakar, used as test locations. Data/Includes scripts to download geographic and demographic data from OpenStreetMap and WorldPop, respectively.Downloaded data are stored in folders named according to their collection dates. The scripts output CSV files. Walkability/Contains scripts to: Extract features required for walkability index computation Compute the walkability index The outputs are provided as CSV files. Utilities/Includes legacy code, scripts for additional analyses, and sample datasets (anthropometric and physical activity data) corresponding to the five individuals living at the test addresses.
