WHAMP - Waves in Homogeneous Anisotropic Magnetized Plasma

Abstract

Adding a new tag and version v1.4.2 of WHAMP here. Changes since v1.4.1 COMPLEX RI The Fortran code has changed back the RI to be complex and should now be consistent with the original report. Details in GitHub issue 2. NOTE: Matlab MEX file for WHAMP has not been re-compiled since that change since Matlab on Mac OS has limited support for Fortran compilers. Style The Fortran 90 code has been "prettified" (standardized indentation and spacing) with fprettify, and the Matlab code as been aligned with irfu-matlab indentations and spacing. CI/CD GitHub actions have been configured to run some basic CI/CD script verifying each commit pushed to the repository. References A CITATION.cff file has been created to help highlight how to reference this work if used in publications (original paper, details in GitHub issue 1), and with this "official" GitHub release the repository should hopefully be archived with an official DOI via Zenodo.
