
This updated release includes project files associated with the original UV preference logger system used by Conley and Lattanzio (2022, Functional Ecology), and included in the previous release. It also includes project files associated with a new Field UV data logger I developed and finalized in 2020 for recording UV exposures in a field setting at user-specified intervals for scientific research. Files for the lab Preference logger system include circuit and Fritzing diagrams of the system, STL files for 3D-printing a case for the system, and Arduino code for running the logging program. Currently, files for the Field UV data logger system include circuit and Fritzing visual diagrams of the assembly/system, and Arduino code for running the logging program. More information (i.e., 3D-printed parts and other logger enclosure components, tests of battery life and estimated logging durations at different sampling intervals, etc.) will be added as I finish up a manuscript associated with this device.
