Abstract

In dieser Handreichung wird dargestellt, wie Planungs- und Diskussionsprozesse für große wissenschaftliche Forschungs- und Entwicklungsvorhaben für die Mitwirkung von potentiellen Nutzergruppen geöffnet werden können. Im Rahmen des Projekts hat das Museum für Naturkunde Berlin exemplarisch die anstehende Digitalisierung seiner 30 Millionen Objekte umfassenden Sammlung mit externen Nutzerinnen und Nutzern diskutiert und so von deren breiter Expertise profitiert. Die entsprechenden, hier beschriebenen Workshops sind als Prototyp erprobt worden – mit hochspannenden Ergebnissen, die in die weitere Planung einfließen werden.
