La obra aborda la colaboración necesaria entre la escuela y la familia para la formación integral del ser humano. Resalta que enseñar y educar son procesos inseparables, y ambos deben trabajar de manera constante y colaborativa para lograr una educación inclusiva y equitativa. En el texto se propone y valida un instrumento para medir las relaciones entre la escuela y la familia a partir de las dimensiones comunicación, participación y estrategias de formación y apoyo mutuo.
