Abstract

New records of 43 species of Parmeliaceae from Bolivia are presented. Fourteen species are new to the country: Bulbothrix cinerea, Canoparmelia cryptochlorophaea, Flavocetraria nivalis, Hypotrachyna ectypa, H. everniiformis, H. osseoalba, H. polydactyla, Parmotrema eitenii, P. hypermaculatum, P. muelleri, P. virescens, Punctelia jujensis, P. riograndensis and P. rudecta. Hypotrachyna ectypa is also reported for first time from South America. New records of twenty-eight species rarely reported from Bolivia are presented, as are many first records for various Bolivian departments and provinces.
