The following new combinations are presented: Cienophilus amieti (Demange, 1963) ; Cienophilus corliceus (Demange, 1968); Cienophilus magnus (Demange, 1963), Cienophilus nitidus (Brolemann. 1926), Ctenophilus o/igopodus (Demange, 1963) and Ctenophilus pratensis (Demange, 1963). Ctenophilus eden lulus (Porat, 1894) and Cienophilus ango/ae (Cham berlin. 1951) are redescribed from the type material. Pleuroschendvla barrai Mauriès, 1968 is here considered as a synonym of Cienophi/us edentulus (Porat) and Schendvlurus haemodionlus Attems, 1952 is here considered as a synonym of Ctenophilus angolae (Chamberlin). An original key for determination of ali known species of the genus Cienophilus is proposed. Pleuroschendyla minula Demange, 1 968, is removed to the genus Pectiniunguis Bollman, 1899.
De nouvelles combinaisons sont proposées: Ctenophilus amieli (Demange. 1963); Cienophilus corliceus (Demange, 1968); Ctenophilus magnus (Demange, 1963), Ctenophilus nitidus (Brolemann, 1926), Ctenophilus oligopodus (Demange, 1963) et Cœnophilus pra/ensis (Demange, 1963). Ctenophilus edentulus (Pontt, 1894) et Ctenophilus angolae (Chamberlin, 1951) sont redécrits à partir du matériel-type. Pleuroschendyla barrai Mauriès, 1968. est considéré comme synonyme de Ctenophilus edentulus (Porat) et Schendylurus haemodionlus Attems, 1952, comme synonyme de Cienophilus angolae (Chamberlin). Une clé de détermination de toutes les espèces du genre Cienophilus est présentée. Pleuroschendyla minuta Demange, 1968, est classé dans le genre Pecliniunguis Bollman, 1899.
