Abstract

Das Working Paper stellt erste Ergebnisse eines von der Hochschule Luzern – Soziale Arbeit finanzierten empirischen Forschungsprojekts zu Arbeitsbedingungen und Arbeitsvollzügen in der Soziokulturellen Animation zur Diskussion. An einem Fallbeispiel, der Einführung und Etablierung einer Stelle für Soziokulturelle Animation in einem Alters- und Pflegeheim, wird vornehmlich aus einer ethnomethodologischen Perspektive der Studies of Work danach gefragt, wie die spezifische Expertise und die Arbeitsweise der Berufsfachperson der Soziokulturellen Animation in das neue Berufs- und Arbeitsumfeld hineinvermittelt wird. Dabei wird anhand der Daten gezeigt, dass organisatorische Weichenstellungen, wie die Einrichtung eines neuen Bereichs, die Anbindung an eine Abteilung, sowie die Festlegung eines Aufgabenbereichs zentrale Voraussetzungen für die Etablierung der Soziokulturellen Animation darstellen. Darüber hinaus wird die Rolle von berufsbezogenen Wahrnehmungs- und Deutungsprozessen bei der Umstellung auf ein multiprofessionelles Team in den Fokus gerückt und im Hinblick auf die Etablierung einer beruflichen Identität im Arbeitsumfeld betrachtet. Mittels einer Reihe von diskursiven Praktiken wird die Soziokultur in der Organisation als „Profession“ inszeniert. Dabei zeigt sich, dass der Fachdiskurs der Soziokultur und die in Netzwerken zirkulierenden Erzählungen und Geschichten über die Soziokulturelle Animation eine wichtige Ressource darstellen, um sich im neuen Berufsfeld kompetent zu positionieren.
