Abstract

Notes: On Linux Tested on Debian 8, Ubuntu 16.04.1 and Bunsen Labs Hydrogen. Both apps (Runner and Designer) are portable apps and should not require any installation. To extract the binaries from the *.zip file you can execute the following commands on your terminal: # cd <PATH-TO-TAR.GZ-FILE> unzip experiment_runner_linux_64bits_v0.2.0.12.zip unzip experiment_designer_linux_64bits_v0.2.0.12.zip On Windows 10 You can use 7zip to unzip files. Designer is a portable app, but Runner is not. To execute the Runner, the libzmq library is required. The libzmq.dll file is shipped with the application, however you may need to install visual studio 2015 redistributable tool kit (86x). The toolkit can be found here: https://www.microsoft.com/pt-br/download/details.aspx?id=48145 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145 For setup details, and other instructions please see the Documentation/INSTALL folder. Abstract Free-mtrix is free software (GPL3) for scientists of fields like Behavioral Sociology and Behavioral Analysis. You can design and present social behavior experiments that uses choice-based tasks similiar to the ones created by Wiggins (1969), Vichi (2004) and Vichi, Andery & Glenn (2009). Participants can choose elements of a matrix (e.g., a row) and the scientist can determine how individual and social consequences will be presented (e.g., which messages, how many points and reasoning questions).
