"A near-infrared spectrum between 1483.0 and 1516.3-nm at a spectral resolution of 50,000 is presented using CRIRES. The target chosen was Beta Cen with mH=1.209 mag and observations were taken using natural seeing (NoAO). With a one-hour observation we obtained 30 spectra which were reduced using the ESO CRIRES pipeline. The signal to noise ratio achieved exceeded 5,000 in some parts of the spectra. We discuss how the S\/N obtained compares with what should be theoretically possible and how well we could correct the spectrum for telluric lines using the MOLECFIT package."
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 1 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
