Abstract

As mulheres passam por alterações musculares na gestação, onde ocorre o estiramento da musculatura abdominal para permitir o crescimento uterino, ocorrendo, na maioria das vezes, a separação dos feixes musculares, chamado de diástase abdominal. O método de Ginástica Abdominal Vácuo é uma técnica postural e sistêmica desenvolvida na década de 80 pelo Dr. Marcel Caufriez, com o intuito de fortalecimento da musculatura abdominal e do Assoalho Pélvico (AP) de mulheres no pós-parto. Objetivo: Avaliar os benefícios da intervenção fisioterapêutica na recuperação da diástase abdominal através da abordagem hipopressiva, nas três fases do puerpério. Método: A pesquisa realizada caracteriza-se como uma revisão bibliográfica, a fim de abordar intervenção fisioterapêutica na diástase abdominal em puérperas, através da utilização do método de hipopressivo. Foram pesquisados artigos publicados nas bases de dados PEDro, Pubmed, SciELO e Biblioteca Virtual da Saúde. Foram pesquisados artigos do período de 2012 a 2023. Resultados: Nos estudos analisados verifica-se que através do método hipopressivo é possível haver melhora na reabilitação física no período pós-parto das mulheres, para prevenção de complicações decorrentes do tratamento, promovendo adequada recuperação funcional e consequente melhoria na qualidade de vida. Conclusão: Neste estudo pode ser observado a importância do método GAH sendo um recurso de fácil execução, com um intuito fortalecimento abdominal, melhora da imagem corporal e atuando precocemente nas alterações decorrentes da gestação e pós-parto, visando prevenção e recuperação da DMA, e em todas as fases do puerpério, os estudos ressaltam que o método GAH tem um papel fundamental nesta nova etapa da vida da mulher.
