This archive contains a python cleaning script that drives Difmap and uses a calculation of entropy to find the optimum point from which to restore the CLEAN model as described in our paper, "Residual Entropy as a Diagnostic and Stopping Metric for CLEAN" by Homan, Roth, and Pushkarev. The "Example" tar file contains a sub-directory with a simulated UV data example, along with a "README_example" file which explains how to use the python script to CLEAN the simulation. Note that you must have Difmap installed in a location that the script can find it, or give it the location of Difmap on the command line.
