GASTROSQUISE: A REALIDADE EM UM MUNICÍPIO NO INTERIOR DO PAÍS

Abstract

A gastrosquise é o defeito de parede abdominal anterior mais frequente entre os recém-nascidos e que se caracteriza pela abertura de todas as suas camadas com exteriorização das vísceras sem qualquer cobertura. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo o desenvolvimento de um protocolo de conduta para atendimento ao paciente com gastrosquise a fim de aperfeiçoar os cuidados aos recém-nascidos. Para tanto, leva em conta a epidemiologia desta condição em uma cidade do interior do país, através da análise de dados de prontuário de um hospital referência em urgência e emergência situado na planície litorânea do Piauí e fundamentado por pesquisa bibliográfica nas diversas bases de dados. Nos resultados encontrados, percebeu-se que a idade materna mais baixa está relacionada à presença de gastrosquise, assim como a primiparidade. Notou-se também que a maioria das mulheres não realizou adequadamente o pré-natal e, desta forma, não estavam cientes da malformação até o momento do parto. Percebeu-se ainda que 55,5% dos pacientes recebeu fechamento primário da parede abdominal, enquanto apenas 11,1% necessitou do silo, além de que, o desfecho clínico dos pacientes que receberam intervenção cirúrgica em até 24h foi melhor do que aqueles que somente o fizeram após 48h. Concluiu-se, desta forma, que as genitoras que realizam de forma correta o pré-natal preparam-se melhor para receber seus filhos com gastrosquise, os quais podem ser mais rapidamente abordados, em busca de um melhor desfecho.
