ROMANO-GERMANIC PHILOLOGY RESEARCHERS FROM UZBEKISTAN AS PIONEERS IN FOREIGN NAVOI STUDIES
The studies of Alisher Navoi’s works abroad began almost two centuries ago. Until now, this has been carried out by European scientists and is reflected in their scientific works in English, German and French. Since the 1960s, Uzbek specialists in Western philology began to acquaint the Uzbek-speaking scientific audience with research in these languages, since only specialists in Western philology could understand, comprehend, translate to Uzbek language researches on Navoi from European languages at the proper level. The article provides brief information about these scientists.
