Abstract

Le présent rapport est l’aboutissement de l’évaluation du programme pilote de préapprentissage d’intégration (PAI) réalisée par la Haute école pédagogique germanophone de Berne, sur mandat du Secrétariat d’État aux migrations (SEM). Pour donner une profondeur qualitative à l’analyse des données des trois premières années de programme, six cas ont été étudiés en 2022. À cette fin, des entretiens ont été menés auprès de six participants au PAI, d’enseignants, de formateurs en entreprise et de coaches, ainsi que des référents responsables du programme dans les communes ou le canton. Les entretiens se sont focalisés sur les conditions d'apprentissage à l'école et dans les entreprises formatrices, sur les ressources individuelles et sociales des participants et sur leurs solutions post-PAI et perspectives. Les cas étudiés illustrent six parcours réussis. Ils mettent en évidence les conditions de réussite qui ont contribué à ce que des réfugiés, des personnes admises à titre provisoire ou des jeunes adultes ne relevant pas du domaine de l'asile accomplissent leur PAI avec succès et se créent ainsi des perspectives.
