Abstract

El cuidado de las aguas residuales es uno de los temas principales en el campo de la investigación actual, debido a que es una consecuencia de las actividades más contaminantes del ser humano; aumentando así el interés por el tratamiento de estas ya que por lo general son vertidas en el medio ambiente sin recibir ningún tipo de tratamiento y contienen altos niveles de contaminación nocivos. Por eso se necesitan medidas para gestionar el tratamiento de las aguas residuales, para que no tengan efectos nocivos en el medio ambiente. En este articulo investigativo se analizaron las condiciones para el tratamiento de aguas residuales a partir del método de MC. Garry y Pescod; haciendo un breve paralelo con los métodos de Yañez, Mara y Arthur. Primeramente, se verá reflejado mediante la metodología de las lagunas facultativas las cuales cuentan con varias alternativas para dimensionar y varias sus condiciones de funcionamiento; todo lo establecido parte de unas condiciones establecidas de manera teórica para poder tener así visión más asertiva de cómo las condiciones de Temperatura, DBO y otros factores pueden afectar directamente el tratamiento de las aguas residuales. Además de esto, se debe tener en cuenta que hay otras alternativas de tratamiento de aguas residuales que pueden llegar a mejorar las condiciones, pero que en la misma medida estas pueden llegar a tener un incremento significativo en el costo a la hora de implementarlas.
