The research work has been dedicated to the study of Azerbaijans' folk medicine on the base of ethnobotanical principles. Scientific medicine has closely connected with traditional imaginations and treatment methods; some medicinal herbs as: Glycyrrhiza glabra L., Plantago major L., Tussilago farfara L., Trifolium pratense L., Thymus transcaucasicus Ronn., Cephahalaria gigantea (Ledeb.), Saponaria officinalis L., Verbascum thapsus L., Malva sylvestris L., Rosa canina L.and Taraxacum officinale Wigg. were applied at treatment of animals. On the result of feeding by medicinal herbs biochemical induces have been studied in the content of blood of cows.
