Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) are spatially distributed autonomous sensors to monitor physical or environmental conditions, such as temperature, sound, pressure. Routing algorithms play a crucial role in WSN sensors lifetime. This paper proposes a novel efficient routing algorithm Protracted Bi-clustering Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks (PBP_WSN) which uses the bi-cluster based approach for getting prolonged lifetime of the sensor nodes. This algorithm works in two fold where the sensor nodes are clustered using heuristics and then bi-clustering (parent and child hierarchy). Results are promising which considerably improves the lifetime of the sensor nodes and cluster heads.

| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
