These Simons Collaboration on Ocean Processes and Ecology (SCOPE) data products were produced by the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa with support from the Simons Foundation. This dataset was collected on the R/V Kilo Moana, which departed and returned to Honolulu, HI, with most of the cruise spent following an anticyclonic eddy northeast of the Hawaiian islands. The data consist of cell abundances for heterotrophic bacteria, picophytoplankton populations (namely the cyanobacteria Prochlorococcus and Synechococcus), and small eukaryotic phytoplankton. Time is in UTC.
