Tibicen chiricahua Davis, 1923 new record. The UNSM has a specimen from Chihuahua, 20 miles Southeast of Columbus, 8–VI–1982. The species has previously been reported from Arizona and New Mexico (Metcalf 1963a). The southern extension into Mexico is not surprising as the author has collected examples within site of the Mexico-Arizona border.
