Abstract

O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar a variação na distribuição geográfica potencial de espécies do gênero \textit{Diversitermes} gerada pelas mudanças climáticas globais e estabelecer áreas prioritárias para conservação. As espécies utilizadas foram \textit{D. castaniceps}, \textit{D. diversimiles} e \textit{D. tiapuan}. Para os dados de variação climática foi utilizado o banco de dados climáticos AOGCM - \textit{Atmosphere-Ocean General Circulation Models}, que apresenta cenário climático passado (último máximo glacial), atual (pré-revolução industrial) e futuro (final do século), em uma matriz de 0,5 graus de abertura de malha. Foram escolhidas as cinco variáveis com maior porcentagem de explicação dos modelos e o MaxEnt como algoritmo para dados de presença/ausência. Os modelos de \textit{D. castaniceps} indicam áreas de estabilidade climática (pouca mudança no clima ao longo do tempo) no litoral do estado do Rio de Janeiro até Santa Catarina. Os modelos de \textit{D. tiapuan} indicam áreas de estabilidade climática no sudeste de Minas Gerais. \textit{D. diversimiles} apresenta ampla distribuição e uma mudança em sua distribuição potencial indo do nordeste brasileiro ao chaco do noroeste da Argentina, mas com áreas menos favoráveis por toda essa diagonal de áreas abertas e até o litoral do Rio de Janeiro. Baseando-se nos modelos sobrepostos de estabilidade climática das três espécies de \textit{Diversitermes}, recomenda-se que sejam priorizadas áreas de conservação no sudeste de Minas Gerais. Houve redução na distribuição potencial das três espécies de \textit{Diversitermes} e potencial risco de extinção para \textit{D. tiapuan} até o final do século.
