Abstract

Input-Vortrag für die Fishbowl-Diskussion zum Thema Fake News und Informationskompetenz auf dem Jubiläums-Symposium – 75 Jahre DGI (Die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Information und Wissen e.V.) am 15.09.2023 in Frankfurt/ Main. Der Vortrag behandelt folgende Fragen: 1. Wer produziert Fake News und warum? 2. Wie funktioniert die flächige Verbreitung von Fake News in Massenmedien und Social Media und warum? 3. Wie wirken Fake News bei der Rezeption? 4. Wie können Fake News auf den unterschiedlichen Ebenen verhindert oder aushebelt werden und wer kann/sollte das tun? Inwieweit können wir Resilienz gegen Desinformation aufbauen?
