The aim of the study was influence of electromagnetic waves of millimetres long range of extremely high frequency to condition of cytokine status at patients with partially controllable bronchial asthma. Comparative analysis of correlation of the level cytokines between the groups of the patients receiving basic medicamentous therapy (BМТ) (16 pers.) and the patients who received a complex treatment including BМТ in combination with EHF-therapy (16 pers.) was carried out. After a month after the beginning of the treatment the level ratings of pro- (TNF-α, INF-γ, IL-2) and anti-inflammatory (IL-4, IL-6, IL-10) cytokines in blood serum were examined. During research statistically significant decrease of the level of IL-4 and IL-6 is revealed, and as well is increase INF-γ in the group which received EHF-therapy that testifies of alignment of imbalance in the T-helper system and as investigation - the suppression of allergic inflammation by the action of electromagnetic waves of millimetres long range of extremely high frequency.
