This use case aims to reduce the number and size of experiments, as well as the cost and time, required to identify the behaviour under specific operation conditions by exploiting own and third party available data. Results from tribological experiments follow heterogeneous formats and data models due to a lack of standards. The proposed implementation approach provides formal and unambiguous data representation and homogeneous data access based on Semantic Technologies. The components involved are: Tribo-connector, Semantic Repository, TribOnt Ontology, Added Value Services.

| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
