La aplicación del sello verde como estrategia de mejora competitiva en las empresas de alimentos de Latacunga- Ecuador

Abstract

El uso del sello verde como estrategia de mejora en las empresas alimenticias de la ciudad de Latacunga, implica la implementación de prácticas y políticas orientadas hacia la sostenibilidad ambiental y la calidad de los productos. Este enfoque busca no solo cumplir con las normas y estándares ambientales, sino también diferenciar a las empresas en el mercado a través de su compromiso con prácticas responsables. La adopción del sello verde implica una serie de beneficios. En primer lugar, mejora la imagen de la empresa al mostrar su compromiso con la protección del medio ambiente y la salud de los consumidores. Además, fomenta la innovación en los procesos de producción y en la elección de materiales, lo que puede llevar a cabo una reducción de costos a largo plazo. La certificación también puede abrir nuevas oportunidades de mercado, ya que los consumidores cada vez valoran más los productos sostenibles y éticos. Para implementar con éxito el sello verde, las empresas deben realizar evaluaciones exhaustivas de sus prácticas actuales y realizar los ajustes necesarios para cumplir con los estándares requeridos. Esto puede involucrar cambios en la cadena de suministro, la gestión de residuos, el uso de energías renovables y la promoción de prácticas agrícolas sostenibles, entre otros aspectos.
