The supplemtary data describe the fractions of the HWPs disposed of by each option in major countries/regions worldwide. The Matlab code is developed to produce the results of China's HWP carbon balance assessment using Trade-Linked Approach, an innovative generalizable approach for HWP carbon assessment.
