İRAN'DA YAŞAYAN AZERBAYCAN TÜRKLERİ VE AZERBAYCAN-İRAN İLİŞKİLERİNE ETKİLERİ

Abstract

Iran and history of Iran are two topics which require extensive amount of research and analysis. What makes studying these topics crucial is the effect that Iran has had politically and culturally on other countries because of its historical changes and geopolitical position. The same can be said for Azerbaijani Turks who live in Iran and Iran-Azerbaijan diplomatic relationships. Taking into consideration that studies about Iran is to bring some novelty to the field work, the topics of Iran's historical change, the effect of the Shia on forming its identity and historical phases are covered in this study. After giving information about the history of Iran, the subjects of Iran's current governmental regime and position of Azerbaijani Turks, who are one of the important groups living in Iran, are examined. In the last chapter, Iran-Azerbaijan relationships are investigated with the point of view of Azerbaijani Turks who live in the North of Iran and main problems are revealed. In short, this study aims to touch upon the current position of Azerbaijani Turks who live in Iran by examining the historical process of the relationships between Iran and Azerbaijan.Key Words: Iran, History of Iran, Azerbaijan-Iran Relationships, Azerbaijani Turks

Tarihsel süreç içerisinde geçirdiği değişimler ve jeopolitik konumu nedeniyle diğer ülkelerin siyasi ve kültürel yapısına olan etkileri açısından İran ve İran tarihi, üzerinde derin araştırmalar ve analizler yapılması gereken bir konudur. Bu durum hem İran'da yaşayan Azerbaycan Türkleri hem de İran-Azerbaycan diplomatik ilişkileri için geçerlidir. İran hakkında yapılacak araştırmaların alan çalışmalarına getireceği yenilikler göz önünde tutularak bu çalışmada İran'ın tarihsel süreci, İran kimliğinin oluşumunda Şii etkisi ve tarihsel evreler hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. İran tarihinden sonra İran'ın bugünkü yönetim yapısı ile İran'da yaşayan önemli topluluklardan Azerbaycan Türkleri'nin konumu incelenmiştir. Son bölümde ise İran-Azerbaycan ilişkileri İran'ın kuzeyinde yaşayan Azerbaycan Türkleri bağlamında değerlendirilmiş ve temel sorunlar ortaya konulmuştur. Bu çalışma ile İran-Azerbaycan ilişkilerinin tarihsel süreci ele alınarak İran'da yaşayan Azerbaycan Türklerinin günümüzdeki durumlarına ışık tutmak istenmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler: İran, İran tarihi, Azerbaycan-İran ilişkileri, Azerbaycan Türkleri
