Abstract

Der Artikel beschreibt die elementaren Teile des musikalischen Satzes aus der Sicht der Musiktheorie anhand von drei repräsentativen Werken der Musiktheorieschreibung. Die in Betracht kommenden Werke sind "Unterweisung im Tonsatz" von Hindemith, "Neue Theorien und Phantasien" von Schenker sowie mehrere musiktheoretische Werke von Riemann, die sich über einen Zeitraum von mehr als vierzig Jahren erstrecken. Der Artikel gibt einen Einblick in die harmonische Lehre von Hugo Riemann und die Gesetze der Klangabfolge.
