Uso de Facebook en la promoción de la lectura del texto literario en la universidad (*)

Abstract

Resumen Durante el semestre A-2014 se llevó a cabo una propuesta de promoción de lectura literaria en la asignatura Literatura Venezolana del Siglo XX, perteneciente a la carrera Educación mención Español y Literatura. Los sujetos de la investigación fueron 30 estudiantes quienes pudieron complementar las clases presenciales con apoyo de la red social Facebook. La investigación, circunscrita a la investigación acción, tuvo como objetivo identificar los intereses, hábitos e inclinaciones hacia la lectura literaria y también hacia el uso de la red social como medio de apoyo y promoción de los textos literarios. Es innegable la popularidad que poseen las redes sociales entre las jóvenes generaciones y a través de esta investigación se pudo apreciar que, si bien es posible emplearla en escenarios formativos, el empleo presentó ciertos desafíos, por lo que se enfatiza en la necesidad de identificar el uso que hacen los estudiantes universitarios de las redes sociales para, posteriormente, trazar la inclusión de dichos medios como herramienta de innovación tecnológica y del aprendizaje.
